The human behind the camera
I was born in 1991 in Miltenberg and grew up in Kleinwallstadt, later living in Offenbach-Bieber for seven years before moving to Frankfurt’s Bornheim and Ostend areas.
My interests are diverse: encompassing sports, a passion for photography, and a love for musicals.
Like many in this field, I am a complete self-taught individual who has turned a hobby into a profession. Initially, I completed an apprenticeship as a car salesman but gradually transitioned into the marketing sector over the years. In 2019, I registered my side business, and by 2024, I became a full-time freelancer in photography and web design.
“Earlier”
From an early age, I developed a keen interest in photography, a passion that I can trace back to my father, who was an avid photographer himself, often capturing moments with his trusty SLR camera.
As a child, I longed for a camera of my own, and my wish came true when I received a small Olympus for Christmas, which accompanied me on numerous school trips and events. At that time, my photographic pursuits were primarily focused on buildings, plants, and plush toys.
Later, I explored various digital cameras, long before smartphones became the norm. This newfound interest in photography naturally led me to delve into image editing software, where I spent countless hours experimenting with GIMP, a process that feels daunting to me now but was a blessing back then.
In 2015, I picked up my first DSLR, a Nikon D3200, which I still cherish to this day. I was filled with enthusiasm, and the automatic mode allowed even novices to capture decent photos. My closest friends became my subjects and remain my go-to models for testing new techniques.
At some point, I became truly passionate about photography, learning a great deal from a photographer friend. I began to shoot manually, which at first seemed overwhelming as I struggled to simultaneously manage aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and focus. However, through practice, I quickly mastered the art.
My principles –
what’s important for me
Behind the Memes
For me, photography is far more than pressing a shutter button – it’s an expression of emotion, aesthetics, and authenticity. In my work, I value…
1. Authenticity & Honesty
Every person, every shoot, and every story is unique. I want to capture genuine moments – not artificial poses, but images that reflect personality. I take the time to get to know my clients and create a relaxed atmosphere.
2. Quality & Perfection
Every photo I publish must meet my highest standards. I pay attention to light, composition, and details, but also to the subtleties of image editing to achieve a perfect result.
3. Emotion & Expression
Pictures shouldn’t just look beautiful, they should tell a story. Whether it’s an intimate glance, a genuine laugh, or a powerful pose – I want my photographs to convey emotions and preserve memories.
4. Trust & Comfort
Especially during sensitive shoots like nude or couple photography, it’s important to me to create a trusting atmosphere. Everyone should feel comfortable in front of my camera and be able to be completely natural.
5. Creativity & Individuality
I avoid standard solutions and focus on creative image ideas that suit my clients. Every shoot is unique – I love experimenting with light, perspectives, and moods.
6. Respect & Professionalism
Treating my clients with respect is my top priority. Punctuality, reliability, and professional collaboration are a given.
7. Enjoyment of My Work
I love what I do – and I want my clients to feel that. A photoshoot should not only deliver beautiful results but also be a positive experience that you’ll fondly remember.
